Shopbop Spring Trend: Tattered look

I love the tattered look presented by the Spring Trend lookbook by Shopbop. I think grungy-tattered look is one of the hottest, yet hardest look to pull off.
I always feel that only Erin Wasson-esq girls (skinny and tall with sexy face without makeup) can pull this look off-- this trend therefore, only belongs to people who have superior bone structure and of course grandmother who does not care about ripped jeans. I, as one of the people who do not belong to either of the criteria, really can do one thing-- wear things that are tailored, fitted, and entirely sewed.
(with the exception of pairs of Siwy jeans and jean skirts-- yea I tried)

Shopping Addiction: Neiman Marcus

I needed a new dress for a special occasion, I found a perfect one from Neiman Marcus online.
It is a broken glass dress by McQ by Alexander McQueen.

I love the minty color, the gorgeous print, and the loose fitting silhouette!
So excited to receive it! I think I should get a same minty color nail polish for the occasion! yay more shopping-- bad for my wallet/ card bill

I ordered a Fresh exfoliator because I realized that exfoliating is one of the most important steps in skin care: it helps renew the skin cell and helps my skin absorb the serums and creams better!-- got a sample of the new Fresh night serum which I am super excited about..
I ordered a couple of lip lacquers from Chanel: read pretty nice reviews on Temptalia, which is another addiction of mine.

I'll post a haul/review once I get them in my hands:-) soso happy right now

even though the consistency looks gorgeous, it is definitely over-priced.

Celine wedges- Pour La Victoire!

I really loved the 2010 SS collection by Celine and especially their wedges... they are just chic and perfect for summer.

The other day, I was just searching through Endless.com... and found these!
I have always liked a lot of the Pour La Victoire shoes and their designs. These are not the most inexpensive shoes in this style(they are around $300), but the leather looks pretty nice and quality should be pretty nice, in general. So I thought these could be some more affordable versions of Celine wedges for summer! I might get the beige one... It's actually really chic and simple that can go with any kind of outfit.

This is from the 2010 Spring collection, so I guess it is still available, but I am always so skeptical about spending so much money on nail polish, but I might change my mind just for this one!

This is also from 2010 Spring collection and I want to see it first before I get it, but unfortunately I don't have a Sephora near me, and the only Nars counter around me is very small, so I don't know if the Spring collection is in yet... plus tax is ridiculous at that particular counter, I don't know if I want to spend so much money on eyeshadows...





I already own Luster which is kind of similar to Madly and Nico.
Yet, whenever I see a swatch or product picture of these, I want them so much....
I am leaning towards wearing less bronzer and wearing more sheer and neutral blushes... strange eh? What can I do but to do what makes me happy:-)

Lorraine's contest Entry: everyday makeup routine

I use the color Nepal everyday as a lid color with a big fluffy brush and then take a little bit of Night Star as inner corner highlight.

I take the darker brown color of the duo Cordura which has pretty gold shimmer and then take my ELF complexion brush to take a little bit of Deep Throat which is my everyday blush!

I use one of these lip products pretty much everyday!

Plus, this is not a beauty routine, but I watch Current Boobies channel's daily videos every day and have really enjoyed them so far! I love your sarcasm and your sense of humor make me happy!

Nordstrom Haul and Deluxe Sample!!

Jessica Simpson flat sandals-- super comfy and quite inexpensive... kinda stylish, too... Please excuse my toenails that are chipping: the nail polish color is OPI Suzi says Feng Shui from the HongKong collection.

These are the things that I actually purchased... not a whole lot compared to the super samples I got.

I did not expect the sample to be humungous.... wow... check Nordstrom out!
Really take advantage of the monthly samples they give out if you spend enough$$.

Spring is here and the most casual and easy-to-throw-on type of material is Jersey!
I lovelovelove jersey materials-- not only for its softness, but also for its look.
I do enjoy wearing more toned down neutral colors, but I think the coral-orange color is definitely worth trying.
I like the fit of a lot of the Splendid products that are super-tight(yea... that is what I like...) and I think it goes very well with more grungy looks like a heavier military styling or thick heavy boots.
